 The APB and WSB Certification Seminar held in the World Boxing Academy (Talgar, Almaty region) is successfully finished. The participants were judges, coaches, supervisors and ITO’s – around 160 people from over 15 countries. Among them was also the coach of the Kazakhstan National Team Myrzagali Aytzhanov.

In the course of one week instructors of APB and various comittees of the IBF have trained listeners on the rules and characteristics of the new AIBA project. The training program was developed by a group of specialists from Argentina with experience in proffesional boxing. The participants of the seminar noted that the training program has taught them quite a few new things.

The theory and practice classes were followed by a test. The names of the participants who got access to APB matches will be announced shortly.

The APB project or AIBA Pro Boxing starts 24 October. Our country will be hosting the below 60 kg weight category matches. Kazakhstan will have five athletes representing it. The matches will have six to twelve rounds. The champions, the names of who will be known end of January 2015, will win the right to participate at the Olympic Games in Rio.

On September 17 the APB coin toss procedure will be held in the World Boxing Academy. The same day is also the day of the grand opening of the sports training complex.
