In the world of boxing
• The Republic of Korea has regained the AIBA membership. The decision was reached during the AIBA's extraordinary executive meeting on May 11th in Astana. Chang Yoon-seok was elected the new president of the Korean Boxing Association.
• Boxing is included in the program of European games to be held in Baku in 2015.
• Chang Jianping has resigned from his post of Chinese Boxing Federation president due to the expiration of the term of office. The new president of the federation is to be appointed in the nearest future.
• André Martin was elected the new president of French Boxing Federation replacing Humbert Furgoni.
• Team Cuba is planned to participate in the following season of World Boxing Series.
